Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Finance is committed to the highest standards of publication ethics. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to observe the following principles:

  • Originality — Manuscripts must present original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • Plagiarism — All forms of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and uncredited use of others’ work, data, or ideas, are unacceptable.
  • Authorship — All listed authors should have made a significant contribution to the research and approve the final manuscript.
  • Conflicts of interest — Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could bias their judgment.
  • Data integrity — Authors should present their data and findings honestly and retain research data for a reasonable period after publication.
  • Corrections and retractions — Errors discovered after publication will be corrected promptly. In cases of serious misconduct, published articles may be retracted, with a public notice explaining the reasons.
