Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Finance undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

  1. Editorial screening — Each submission is first assessed by the editors for scope, originality, and basic scholarly standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be declined at this stage.
  2. External review — Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two independent experts in the relevant field for detailed evaluation.
  3. Editorial decision — Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editors reach one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
  4. Revision — Authors who are asked to revise their manuscript should address all reviewer comments and submit a revised version together with a point-by-point response.
  5. Final decision and production — Once accepted, manuscripts proceed to copyediting and online publication.

IJOF is committed to conducting peer review fairly, confidentially, and as efficiently as possible.
